v21.0 [Dec 8, 2020]
After the v21.0 release, we received several reports from users that they were getting “List Index out of Bounds” error, mainly when editing comics. Luckily, with the help of these users, we were able to close in on the problem and find that it only happened on comics that had 1 or more entries on the Contents tab, so mostly on TPBs. That helped us to quickly reproduce and fix the problem!
Other fixes:
- In Missing Comics and Update Values screens, the series Sort Names were not used for sorting.
- Several Access Violations.
v20.2 [Mar 31, 2020]
- Faster CLZ Cloud syncing: We have made several structural changes to the CLZ Cloud syncing, making it much much faster than before, especially when syncing large amounts of entries up to the CLZ Cloud or down from the CLZ Cloud. To enjoy the faster syncing, you need to use the actual Sync with CLZ Cloud screen. (The Auto-Syncing in the background is also slightly faster now, but if you need to sync many entries up or down, please use the Sync with CLZ Cloud screen.)
- Improved stability when using Auto-Syncing: At the same time, we have resolved several issues with the Auto-Syncing in the background, problems that could cause Access Violations in some situation. So this 20.2 version should provide a more stable experience too.
v19.2
New: Find Duplicate Comics.
v18.4 [Aug 3, 2018]
Secure HTTPS connections, for your security and privacy
v16.4 [Sep 29, 2016]
In the Add Comics Automatically screen, just start typing the first letters of the series title you want to add issues for.
While typing, a drop-down list will appear, instantly showing the five most popular series that match,
including the date range, the number of issues contained and a small thumbnail image.
For popular series, it usually takes only 2 or 3 letters before it shows up.
For older or less popular series, type a few more letters.
Once you see your series appear, use the arrow keys to select it, then hit Enter.
Then under Search Results, that exact series will be listed, with its' issue list.
v16.1 [Dec 11, 2015]
Loading of backup.xml is now more robust.
v5.3 [Sep 19, 2012]
Version 5.3 build 1 (September 14, 2012)
New:
- Compatibility with the upcoming CLZ Comics 2.0 for iOS.
Improved Update File Links screen
* Update/repair your file links (e.g. image files) with
the redesigned Update File Links screen (in Tools / Maintenance)
* Simplified user interface, just use either the Automatic or the Manual
button to indicate the new file locations, then click Update to "make it so".
* The "Automatic" system is now more intelligent in dealing with non-unique
filenames. It now also uses the containing folder names for matching.
* New "Manual" method for just replacing the old base folder with a new one.
* New "File Type" filter.
Fixed:
- Connect:
- Comics marked with "Do not ask me again for these comics" when asked to link, still generated link question
- Dates with only a year '0' filled in would always cause a mismatch
- Next Index wasn't updated after down sync
- Barcode would show as mismatch when different on connect, even though it
was filled in locally (it wouldn't be overwritten though).
- Backdrops: backdrop images with non-standard characters in the file path
did not work (showed a white background instead).
- Details Template:
- When no links were specified the preview art wouldn't show in the image strip
- Publisher images or names didn't link to url
