1. Delegation
Delegation allows you to grant another person, known as a delegate, the rights to manage your email box and calendar. In a typical manager - assistant scenario, the assistant can write and respond to email messages on behalf of the manager. The manager can also allow the assistant to access their calendar and send and/or respond to meeting requests on their behalf. Delegation in Kerio Connect 8.2 works with the following clients:
- Kerio Connect client
- Microsoft Outlook with Kerio Outlook Connector
- Apple Calendar / Apple iCal
2. Improvements in Kerio Connect client
- Kerio Connect client now supports delegation
- Users can now select the message preview position - right, bottom or hidden
- The folder tree can be hidden to gain more space on the screen - ideal for tablets
- Messages can now be sorted which makes finding a specific message much easier
- User can now select a default calendar
3. Instant messaging - group chat
You can set up a permanent chat room for an ongoing meeting with your colleagues, or start a group chat on the fly simply by entering their names.
4. Password Policy
Password policies are commonly used when integrating a directory service like AD or OD. Kerio Connect admins that don't use AD or OD can now set password policies against the local user dagtabase. For newly created and changed passwords, admins can define the minimum password complexity requirements like password length, use of special characters, etc. as well as specifying the password reset frequency.
5. DKIM support
DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) improves the deliverability of email message by ensuring the authenticity of the sender's domain via a digital signature placed in the message header and verified against the DNS. Kerio Connect can now insert a DKIM signature on all outgoing mail.
6. Anti-spoofing
Improved the feature, to offer an additional level of identity verification by making sure that the authenticated user is sending from one of their own addresses and not that of another user or domain.
7. Other improvements
- Updated CalDAV support with improved performance and reliability, and native support for Shared Calendars and Delegation
- Added System Health monitor to remotely view vital server stats with ability to remotely restart the Kerio Connect server

Synchronized attachments in old messages are no more removed from local cache.
