- Program and manage AMX's new NetLinx NX Integrated Controllers that include IPv6, USB connectivity and other major enhancements.
- Manage and download G5 Touch Panel Design (.tp5) and Device Driver files (.xdd) files.
- Transfer any files assigned to the Project Workspace to a user defined directory on the master.
- Updated the "Listen for Masters" dialog (shows the master ID, Host Name and MAC Address).
- Fault detection with real time error feedback when NX Serial and IR ports are disconnected or improperly wired.

Corrected the problem of exporting AXS/AXI files to an AXW file when the user selected to "Exclude" these files from the export
Reactivated the "Port Status" menu option within the Online Tree
Corrected the problem of the Device Mapping dialog not populating correctly when the AXS file had DEFINE_DEVICE keyword is in mixed case
Corrected the problem of not being able to open the temporary TELNET view file when the user selects to start a NetLinx Studio TELNET session
Corrected the problem of the NetLinx Compiler not reporting the correct File Name/Line number when showing #WARNING directives in the Output Status bar
The following features will no longer be supported with NetLinx Studio V4.0:

The Axcess Compiler will be not be installed

- Added a new "Network Device Addressing" dialog for devices located on a LAN that are displayed within the Online Tree. This supports the new ICSLan Devices that are available.
- Ability to launch a TELNET window via NetLinx Studio window or a user defined program (see the "Preferences" dialog).

- Device Properties information display ("Show Devices Property" from the context menu).
- Launch the "Firmware Transfer" dialog from a selected device within the tree.

- Corrected the problem with the TELNET windows sending too many unneeded communication messages. This was causing heavier than needed network traffic.
- Added current workspace path to the list of directories to search for in the "Find-In-Files" dialog.
- Ability to add/assign user-defined images to the toolbars. Select the "Settings-Customize..." menu item, then right-mouse click on any toolbar icon to activate the "Button Appearance" dialog.
- The "IR Data" tab is now refreshed whenever an IR File is dropped into a Workspace.
- The problem of the TCP/IP History not being exported to the user's preference file has been corrected.
