- Bug fix in handling the backspace character in received text.
- Bug fixes in handling the display of forwarded data (received data that is re-transmitted on a second port).
- The time-stamp filter now has a setting to time-stamp every new line (instead of only time-stamping after a minimum delay has been passed).
- The documentation for writing plug-in filters has been updated.

v3.2 [Aug 19, 2015]
- User-interface translations: Spanish and Russian. Thanks go to the translators Luciano Zini and Viacheslav Vasiliev. The Italian translation was done by Giuseppe Bordoni, the French translation by Jean-Michel Terrade, German by Ulrich Schnier and Polish by Krzysztof Kozłowski.
- The polling interval, at which Termite checks whether new data has been received, is now configurable.
- A new plug-in filter that automatically sends a reply when received data matches a search string. Corrections and extensions in other filters.

v3.1 [May 21, 2014]
Recent changes (version 3.1)
User-interface translations: French, German and Polish. Thanks go to the translators Jean-Michel Terrade, Ulrich Schnier and Krzysztof Kozłowski. The Italian translation was done by Giuseppe Bordoni.
A filter can now also return RTF codes. A "highlight" filter that prints text that matches a particular pattern (regular expression) is provided.

v2.8 [Jan 20, 2012]
The "search" function now searches from the start of the text if the cursor is positioned at the end of the text.
The mode-less search dialog could not be operated with the keyboard, because Termite itself was implemented as a modal dialog application. This has now been corrected.
The "time-stamp" filter now supports both time stamps that are relative to the first data received, or time stamps in local time ("wall clock time"). In addition, the time-stamp is not always forced to be aligned in the left column.

v2.6 [Feb 10, 2011]
- Auto-completion can now be disabled (in the Settings dialog).
- Optionally, Termite now closes the COM port (and thereby makes it available to other processes) when it looses focus, and re-opens in when it re-gains focus. This operation is sometimes convenient when using a second program that needs the same COM port.
- Another example filter: "Function Key macros" (see above for the description).
