The TimePanic user interface now supports the two flat designs Light and Dark. The old themes are still available and can be activated in the Options.
New style: The images of all work types, which are mainly used for favorite activities, have been modernized. Custom images now require a different file type. There is however an option to return to the previous style.
Simplification: The work type is no longer mandatory in activities. The work type Open no longer exists in new installations.

Major improvements:
- Collaboration types can now be created, modified and deleted (customer request).
- The setup program has been rewritten and offers the following improvements:
- The location of the time tracking data can be specified during setup (customer request).
- The license key can be entered during setup (customer request).
- TimePanic now supports silent installations (customer request).
- Patches (newer builds of the same version) can now be applied without uninstalling the previous version first (customer request).
Minor improvements:
- The setup now supports a per-user installation into the user-specific application folder. In previous versions, TimePanic was always installed to the program files folder.
- The data API, a C#-based programming interface, is now included as an optional component. If you select this component in the setup wizard, you will find it in the installation folder as a file named API\tipapi.zip.
- The demo data have been updated to represent a more recent year.
Bug fixes:
- Changing the selected columns in the export wizard did not work (customer request).
- During uninstall, the window that prompts you for deletion of your time tracking data no longer appears in the background.
- The keyboard shortcut to show the main window only worked when the day view was active (customer request).
Build 854 fixes bugs:
- Fixed: Titles and comments were converted to upper case in reports if filters were applied to them (customer request).
- Fixed: The specified start and end date in a search was ignored under certain circumstances (customer request).

New features
TimePanic now supports partial free days, for example half day holidays or two hours of sick leave (customer request).
Changed features
In previous versions, two-colored days in the year view were used to display free days containing activities. As of this version, two-colored days are used for partial holidays and partial leave days.
Some of the numbers shown in reports (such as the number of annual leave days) can now have decimal places.
The minimal decimal resolution of the duration format has been changed back from 0.05 to 0.01 (customer request).
The option automatically compensate for rounding errors is now enabled by default in new reports. It is now also available in TimePanic FE (the freeware edition).
Bug fixes
Fixed: In some types of reports, sorting did not work properly (customer request).
Fixed: Copying days in the year view did not work properly for days that extended beyond midnight.
Fixed: Grouping activities by quarters and half years did not work properly in matrix mode.
Fixed: The command Flag Activities of the Report did not work (customer request).
Patches
Build 655 brings the following bug fixes and new functions:
New: The new option Count days in reports in percentages ensures that days are counted by default without percentages as in previous versions (customer request).
New: A new function in the day view allows to select, as start time or end time of an activity, the computer start time (customer request). For users without Windows domain, the user's login time can also be selected.
New: For the first activity of a day, a lead time can be specified (customer request).
Fixed: When waking your computer from hibernation or stand by, the keyboard shortcuts did not work any more (customer request).
Fixed: The Colors tab in the year view was always empty.
New: The Replace command now supports multiple selection.
New: The notification area menu now includes the command Finalize Last Activity (customer request).
