1-2-3 Word Search Maker 

1-2-3 Word Search Maker is a very useful application for teachers that allows them to create exciting puzzles on different topics for their pupils to play in class and practice the learned contents.

The program has a not very attractive user interface, but at least it is easy to use. It comes with a few sample puzzles, but, of course, you can create as many as you want, which can then be easily saved. The puzzles can be completely customized: you can change their type, word direction, letter sharing, appearance, instructions, and capitalization options. This allows you to create new puzzles or edit existing ones for different ages or levels.

There are four types of puzzles to choose from: standard word search, word search with a hidden message, word search with clues and word search with hidden message and clues. The list of words you wish to include can be entered manually or imported from another program. You can also customize the number of columns and rows you want to use or let the program decide automatically. The program even checks the spelling. The pages of the puzzle can be previewed and, of course, printed or exported to other programs. The program also includes the solution to the puzzle, so you can print both the assignment for the kids, and the solution with beautiful colors for yourself.

I think the program is very intuitive and you won´t really need to use the help, but it does include a comprehensive help file and FAQs. I´m sure your students will love the puzzles created by you.
