1 Wire Keyboard Calculator is a tool designed to help embedded system designers implement a keypad using a single analog-to-digital converter (A/D) input. This calculator supports two to 64 key keyboards, although keyboards with more than 26 keys may be difficult to realize. 1-Wire keyboards offer lower electromagnetic interference (EMI) than scanned keyboards, and require fewer electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection components and just one pin on a microcontroller.
