1888 Ladders & Snakes Board Game is a downloadable version of a traditional board game created in ancient India. The game, very attractive to children and lovers of rolling the dice, begins by selecting the number of players - two to four - and entering their names. Every player will count with a color pawn to be identified on the board.
This done, the game starts when the first player hits the Roll Dice button at the upper right hand corner of the screen. Players will take turns to roll the dice and move along the numbered grid squares with their primary-color pawns depending on the achieved number. They will make use of ladders that allow them to climb to a higher position within the board, or they will slide along a snake. Everything depends on their luck when rolling the dice. The game ends when one of the players arrives at the end of the board. Totally free, 1888 Ladders & Snakes Board Game does not have any special system requirements and it runs smoothly on Windows 98 or higher.
