1Blocker is a software program that improves users online browsing by blocking obtrusive ads, widgets, annoying elements, comments or sneaky trackers. It was designed only for macOS and iOS devices and it can be used as an individual app or as an extension for Safari.
Visually, it has a modern graphical interface with nicely shaped buttons and easy-to-navigate main menu. It doesn't use a high amount of computer memory and it doesn't feel sluggish, but it has a very limited menu configuration.
Its functions allow users to customize the content blocker, thus creating a personalized system of rules. Therefore, individuals can block any URL, hide CSS elements or block cookies. Also, it supports synchronization between devices through the iCloud platform and it lets users view the blocked resources on a site.
Furthermore, if need, users can add sites to whitelist from the Safari extension, or block third-party trackers and adult sites.
To summarize, 1Blocker is a smart utility, easy-to-install and use. It's free to use and doesn't have major inconveniences. However, one downside is represented by the limited support for macOS versions.
