2048e is a brain teasing puzzle game that you can play while you're on a break from work. Your goal is to move tiles on the board and merge them to form the tile with 2048 number on it. This type of application has gained a lot of popularity during the past decade as it provides you with an entertaining, yet challenging, way to solve puzzles in your spare time.
Unlike other 2048 games I tested, this app doesn't display ads. Plus, it brings you an intuitive interface, allows you to disable sound effects, and keeps track of your highest score.
You can play the game by using your arrow keys and matching similar numbered tiles on the board. Once they collide, the tiles merge into a single square showing the total of the joined numbers. As you probably guessed by now, the game is complete once the tile 2048 is displayed on your board.
Personally, I think it's great that the app doesn't provide you with an Undo option. This aspect makes the game even more challenging.
Briefly, I'd say this game is worth downloading and installing on your Mac. And since it comes without a price tag, I don't see any reason why you shouldn't try it.
