2D Turbo is a computer program designed to benchmark CPU performance and create desktop backgrounds. It uses a Direct Numerical Simulation (DNS) to solve the Navier-Stokes equations that describe two-dimensional incompressible homogeneous turbulence. The Euler method is used for time stepping, and the time step is adjusted to ensure the CFL number does not exceed a given threshold (less than 0.8). The equations are solved in the Fourier space, where the nonlinear terms are calculated.
This program allows users to easily draw the Mandelbrot-set with colorful color variations, saving and reading functions, and multi-CPU support.
App that lets users create functions expressed as sine and cosine sums, play them as audio signals, and save/load experiments.
