3herosoft DivX to DVD Burner is a DVD authoring tool. It can be used to convert your DivX and XviD movies into DVD movie discs. The app comes with both a conversion engine that lets you convert your movies and a DVD burning tool that lets you use your Mac's DVD burner to complete the process. I have used this particular application in the past to convert movies so that friends of mine could watch them on their DVD players. Nowadays, with more and more devices that can play DivX files, the need for a DVD authoring tool has decreased a lot. Still, if for some reason you need one, I can say that this one works quite well.
The graphical user interface, although not flashy, is very nice, and it makes it easy to use the application. On the left part of the screen, you will find a snapshot of the menu that you are using for your movie and a video player. You can choose not to use a menu, which is what I always did. This way, the movie will start playing when you pop in the disc in your DVD player. The menu edition window allows for choosing from a variety of templates, and from here, you can add music and a background to your menu.
Once you have added the files that you want to convert and you have decided on what menu you want to use, you will see how much free space your compilation has. Sometimes, you can add as many as two movies to a single disc. After you have finished configuring the movie, you can start the conversion process.
