3herosoft DVD to iPad Converter is a DVD ripper. You can use it to convert your DVD movies into files that you can then play on your iPad and other Apple devices. The application can convert your movies into audio and video formats. The supported ones are MPEG-4, H.264, AAC, M4A, MP3, and WAV.
When you load a DVD movie, you will see all the DVD titles that make up your movie. You can select the ones that you want to convert by checking a box next to them. Usually, the longest DVD title contains your movie, and the rest are extra features, trailers, or bonus material.
The app comes with quite a few conversion profiles for the AppleTV, iPad, iPhone and the iPod Touch. You can customize any conversion profile by clicking on the "Advanced" button.
There aren't many video editing features in this app. In fact, the only thing that you can do is trim a DVD title into a shorter video clip. Most other DVD rippers come with more advanced video editing features.
In terms of performance, this ripper worked fine in my time with it. Ripping DVD titles was fast and the resulting files looked very good.
