4Media 2D to 3D Video Converter, as its name suggests, can be used to convert your 2D video files into 3D files. The 3D technology, although it is not new, has become really popular lately, and new devices are available that let you enjoy 3D content at home. This video converter will let you convert your video files and they will probably look good in 3D if you have a good pair of glasses, but you should keep in mind that for best results, you need content that was filmed in 3D, not converted to 3D.
The app has three different conversion modes. It can convert 2D to 3D so you can watch on standard TVs or 3D TVs. It can also convert 3D videos to a different type of 3D format. For example, the app lets you convert Side by Side and Top and Bottom 3D videos to Red and Cyan Anaglyph 3D videos. The last mode lets you convert 3D videos to 2D videos.
After you select one of the conversion modes, you can add the files that you want to convert and preview the process with the built-in video player. I tested the app with the first mode: 2D to 3D, and there were 5 different formats. You can click on the icon for each format to see how the image will look like after conversion.
