4Videosoft Apple TV Video Converter for Mac is a commercial converter. It can be used to convert your video files so that you can play them on your AppleTV or stream them to your AppleTV 2. As you may know, Apple devices are very picky regarding formats that they will let you play. Any file that is not encoded using H.264, MPEG-4, MOV or M4V will not play on your AppleTV.
This converter has an OK-looking graphical interface. I am not a fan of bright colors in Mac apps, but some people might like that. When you first launch the app, you will see some instructions on how to use it. First, you need to import the video or audio files that you want to convert and then select the conversion profile that fits your needs. You can find all the available profiles in a drop-down menu at the bottom of the screen. There are profiles for the AppleTV and for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.
There is a video editor that allows you to trim and crop your videos and to adjust some of their properties, including brightness, contrast and saturation.
