4Videosoft iPad 2 to Mac Transfer is a commercial transfer utility. This app allows you to copy content from your iPad 2 back to your Mac for safe keeping. There are two versions available: Standard and Ultimate. The main difference between the two versions is that the "Standard" version limits the type of content that you can copy. For example, the "Ultimate" version lets you copy TV shows, Podcasts, iTunes U books, ePub books, and PDF books. It also allows you to backup your SMSs and your contacts. The "Standard" version only lets you backup your movies, music, ringtones, and pictures.

Both versions share the same graphical user interface. It consists of three panes. The one on the right displays a summary of your device when you first launch the app and it also displays the lists of files for the category selected. On the first pane on the left, you can select the data category (movies, music, etc.). Below this pane there is another pane that can play selected video files. Think of it as a preview pane.
