In comparison with the "Standard" app, this "Ultimate" version doesn't restrict the types of data that you can transfer. Some of the things that you can back up are your music, movies, photos, videos, entire camera roll, playlists, and podcasts, among other types of content. It can transfer data both from a device connected using the USB cable or from a backup file created by iTunes. I consider this great when your device crashes and data becomes inaccessible.

Loading files from iOS devices can be slow. That is the reason why loading your photos can take quite a while, especially if you have many.
In my testing, this app detected both an iPhone and an iPad without any problems and I was able to listen to music and transfer files to my Mac just fine. The app is very useful if you don't want to sync with iTunes and need to transfer content to Mac. However, I have seen other solutions out there that provide some more functionality, like the ability to put content on the iOS devices, for about the same price.
