When I tested this app, I noticed that it doesn't restrict input files to .MOV. In fact, you can open files of other formats, such as MKV and MP4. Those are the two formats that I tried opening and I didn't see any problems. The output format support is very good as well. This app can convert files into MKV, MPEG-4, H.264, FLV, WebM, MOV, DivX, XviD, and even MKV. There are conversion profiles for the iPhone, iPod Touch, AppleTV, Xbox 360, Playstation 3, PSP and Nokia and Android cell phones.

In terms of performance, all the video converters I have tried from 4Videosoft didn't disappoint, and this one isn't exception. It is fast and it produces nice-looking files.

The graphical user interface is very simple and intuitive and there is even a video editor that you can use to trim and crop your videos.

In short, if this converter would only let you open MOV files, I would say that it is a bit expensive for what it would offer. But since you aren't limited to MOV files, this is a very complete converter that offers a good value if you are into commercial converters.
