Use the gadgets native to Microsoft Windows 7 on Windows 10 / 8.1 / 8. The program creates a sidebar with standard gadget access icons. The program features note-writing, to-do lists-creating, and appointment marking in the calendar. Clipboard content monitoring is possible.
8GadgetPack is a Windows utility that was designed to help you boost up your productivity while working on your computer. With its assistance, you can get immediate access to the information you need, such as weather forecasts, current time, recent clipboard items, and many others.
Even though its name suggests one thing, the application actually gives you access to much more gadgets (56 to be exact). The program lets you choose between 2 display modes: Sidebar (keep preferred gadgets in a panel) and Custom (place the preferred gadgets anywhere on the desktop). All you need to do is to select the gadgets you want permanently on your desktop.
You can configure the app to keep the Sidebar screen on top of other running programs and display it on the left or right side of your desktop. The one aspect I don't like about this Sidebar mode is that some of the buttons are hardly visible. This is why disabling the Sidebar mode and arranging the gadgets on your screen is a better idea.
In my testing, I used a couple of gadgets from the collection (the unit converter, analog clock, and weather forecast). They all revealed accurate information and were very simple to configure.
Briefly, 8GadgetPack proves to be a smart addition to your collection of Windows apps. It provides you with many useful built-in tools, works great, and comes without a price.

- Added workaround for a bug in MS Word when copying a formula while Clipboarder is running (Word crashes when the user copies a formula and then the textformat of the clipboard is requested. Clipboarder detects this now and skips the text formats).
- Added also another workaround for a minor bug in Word: When a certain clipboard format is requested Word adds a favorit inside the document. That format is now skipped as well.
- Fixed a bug with the "Enable unformatted paste" option in Clipboarder when used with the right shift-button. Clipboarder now handles images with transparency copied in browsers correctly.
- Added Date Time, Digitalclock, Turn off PC, CPU and Network Utilization Gadgets.
- Removed Google Mail gadget (it no longer works).
- You can place gadgets on the sidebar wherever you want now without snapping while holding Shift.
- Added workaround for a bug that caused several gadgets to fail sometimes during startup.
- Fixed a bug that caused gadgets to go behind the sidebar sometimes.
- Fixed many minor issues.
