A Date With Emilywas my first ever try at creating a visual novel.

Your longtime friend and crush, Emily, moves back to your hometown and surprises you by inviting you on a date. As exciting as the prospect of dating her sounds, you’re also scared of losing the friendship that you have. But if the date goes well, who knows, maybe an amazing future that you’ve always dreamt of awaits?

It is a fairly short and straightforward, wholesome story of two people who are obviously into each other. The game is complete and features over 14 thousand words, 110 renders, and 9 music tracks.

This was my first ever project, and I'm aware that it has plenty of shortcomings, especially when it comes to the quality of renders. I have originally released it in September of 2021, and have since been working on my next, much bigger and more ambitious game, Tune in to the show.As its release date approaches, I decided to create an itch.io account and thought that I might as well publish my first project here too.
