Absolute Backgammon is a Mac app developed for users who enjoy playing board games in their spare time. The game features a comprehensive help manual, lets you choose between 5 difficulty levels, allows you to save your gameplay progress, provides you with detailed statistics, and much more.
You can choose between 2 display modes (small or large window), access the built-in help guide whenever you need, and disable sound effects if necessary. The gameplay progress can be saved by going to File and selecting the correspondent option from the list.
Its integrated help manual provides you with all the information you could possibly need to learn how to play and win the backgammon levels. Once you think you're capable of playing more difficult challenges, you can change the skill level to Club Champ mode from the Preferences panel and see if you manage to complete a hard mission.
The free version of the app allows you to play all difficulty levels. However, you cannot finish a challenge until you register the game. It's definitely worth buying this Mac app if you're a diehard fan of playing backgammon games or compete in backgammon tournaments.
However, you can find many backgammon games that are cheaper or even free. Still, they aren't as feature-rich as this application. So, it's up to you to decide if it's worth buying this game or not.

Fixed several problems including:
- the sound routines would crash the game program when the computer was woken from sleep mode. Changed the sound routines to fix it.
- fixed some issues with the Auto Finish feature
- the "Random Dice Rolls" file did not display the correct dice rolls
- replaying with the same dice rolls was not always working correctly
