Ace Optimizer Utilities is a system maintenance and optimization suite for Windows. It can help you solve common issues that make your PC sluggish and unstable. It includes tools to cleanup, backup, and restore a number of files so that Windows can run quickly and efficiently.
Ace Utilities has four main functions divided into different sections: CleanUp, Optimize, Shredder, and Miscellaneous. The CleanUp function can help you remove unwanted ‘junk’ files, clean up erroneous files in your system’s registry, erase browsing history and downloaded internet files, and remove broken shortcuts on your desktop.
The Optimize function allows you to manage what programs start when Windows boots up and sends you alerts when disabled programs become enabled. In this section you will find options to scan your hard drive for duplicated files, and also a platform to easily uninstall unwanted programs.
By using the Shredder function, you can remove and permanently delete unwanted files and folders. In addition, you have the option to completely remove files and make them unrecoverable. This is perfect for people who are deleting sensitive information that they don’t want restored.
The Miscellaneous section has a number of tools that can help you optimize your PC performance. Here you can backup and restore registry files, see a graphical breakdown of how your disk space is being allocated, and roll your system back to a previous restore point.
Ace Utilities gives you a free 30-day trial, where you can see if the program is a good fit for you. It generally provides services that are already included in Windows, but it allows these functions to be carried out quickly and more conveniently. It can be purchased for $29.95.
