This Mac utility was designed to help you back up your personal files thus preventing data loss in the event of system failure or infection. Your data will be backed up to your personal Acronis Cloud account and can be retrieved with just a few clicks.
You can create an Acronis Cloud account directly from the program's interface. You don't need to check your inbox and validate your account. Once you log in, you can start selecting the files and folders you wish to upload to your Cloud account. The application lets you upload up to 1GB of files for free. You need to pay extra in order to increase your upload size limit.
The only thing that didn't seem to work was the ability to encrypt backups. Nothing happened when I clicked over the Password field in the Preferences panel.
On the homepage of the developer you will find two versions of this app: Standard and Premium. The latter provides you with more useful features, such as 1TB upload limit, protection against ransomware, electronic signatures with authenticated audit chain, and many others.
So, if you're looking for an efficient and safe way to back up your Mac data, you should try and buy the Premium version of the Acronis True Image application.
