AcroPDF is a small Windows printer application that enables its users to convert any printable document or Web page to PDF files. Whether one or multiple pages are present, the program turns these documents to PDF quickly and easily.
AcroPDF is setup in the system as a printer, this way it becomes accesible to any Office application, or Web browser to create a PDF.
An advantage of this program is that users can customize many PDF features like the resolution, summary information, password protection, page stretching, compatibility settings, image compression, PDF file size reduction, and font embedding.
Although a bit expensive, the program quickly converts over 100 pages from .doc, .xls, .ppt, images, text, web pages, etc. to PDF.
The improvements make it possible to compress images and embed the fonts in order to reduce the PDF size . The application is compatible with Windows XP and Windows 7 including 64 bit versions. Additionally, it now supports the format of text tables and pictures and has a size reduction option.
