Acropolis is a nice word game in which you must link adjacent letters to form words and turn all the tiles on the board into gold. The game is timed with a so-called "Life meter" which decreases every time you create a word. The goal is to finish the level before the Life meter gets empty or the game will be over. To link the letters you just have to click on the first letter of the word you wish to form and drag the cursor to the next letters. To send the word, you can press the button Submit or double click on the last letter of the word. If you have trouble finding a word, you can use the hints, which are limited. You can also shuffle the letters, but you can only do it a few times.
The words must have at least three letters and the longer they are the higher score you will get and the faster you will finish a level. Forming words with more than five letters helps you get power-ups. Apart from the power-ups, there are also special tiles that will help you score more points if you use them. Unfortunately, the game only includes one mode, but it offers many trophies that you can win by completing the levels under certain conditions. The game features nice graphics, simple sounds and pleasant music.
