This app sports a regular-looking graphical interface. It isn't flashy, but it does the job well. I like the color scheme and how basic it looks, since it gives you all you need in one window. There is a video player for quick video playback and a video editor to crop, trim your videos and adjust their brightness and saturation.
Input format support is very good. I was able to open MKV and DivX files with no problems at all. The video editor and the player did a good job of processing them, too. In my testing, I converted files to MPEG-4, and I was surprised to see the omission of H.264 as a supported format. All the files that I converted with this tool looked great, and I didn't notice any video or audio problems.
In short, this is a basic commercial converter. It has limited output format support, but it works very well.
