AirShow is part of the Open AirPlay project on Google Code. It lets you stream your desktop as a series of images to the Apple TV.
The Java library also requires JMDNS if you want to support searching/bonjour auto discovery.
Requirements: Mac OS X 10.5 or later.
Take the novacom driver installation code and put it in a standalone app.
