Aiseesoft AMV Converter for Mac is a video conversion tool. It can be used to convert different video files into AMV and MTV video files. These formats are not very popular. In fact, I had never heard about them before giving this app a try. They are proprietary video file formats that were produced for playback on some MP3 and MP4 video players. Supposedly, the format allows for video playback on devices with slow processors.
This converter should be able to open any video format. I tested it with AVI, MP4 and MKV files and they were all opened just fine. Once a file is loaded, you can play it using the built-in video player or use the video editor to trim it, crop or adjust its properties (brightness, contrast and saturation).
At the bottom of the screen, you will find the conversion settings drop-down menu. You can select the desired output format here and then click on "Settings" if you want to change any conversion settings.
In short, Aiseesoft AMV Converter for Mac has a nice interface, it can open pretty much any video file that you throw at it and it is easy to use. I haven't seen many converters with support for AMV or MTV files, so it is nice to see that Aiseesoft has something to offer for every user.
