Aiseesoft iPhone 4 Ringtone Maker for Mac is an audio edition tool. It was designed to let you convert your audio or video files into short audio clips that you can use as ringtones on the iPhone or any other phone that supports the M4R format. You can also use a DVD movie as an input file if you want. There is another ringtone maker by Aiseesoft, called "Aiseesoft iPhone Ringtone Maker for Mac". If you purchased that one, you probably don't need this one. They are different graphically, but they do the same. The main difference is that this one lets you load DVD files, as well.
Once you load a file or DVD title, you will be able to play the file. There is a time bar that lets you simply drag two sliders to set the start and end times of your ringtone, or you can do this manually by typing in the minutes and seconds. There is also a volume booster that lets you increase or decrease the volume from 0 to 200%. You can add a fade in or fade out effect to the ringtone.
When you are done with creating your ringtone, you can have the application automatically add it to both iTunes and your phone, if it is connected.
