Aiseesoft Total Media Converter is a video converter and DVD ripper all in one. The app lets you convert your video files between lots of different formats and it can also convert your DVD movies into video files that you can play on your computer or many multimedia playback devices, such as iPods, iPhones, mobile phones, etc. There are quite a few different conversion profiles for each of those devices. The output format support is very good, and formats like MKV, MP4, MPEG-4, H.264, MOV, FLV, AVI, DivX, and the like are all there.
Graphically, the app looks like the older video converters by Aiseesoft. The main window shows some help on how to convert your videos or rip your movies, and there is a video player on the right part of the screen. Below all that, you will find the conversion settings.
To start a video conversion, click on "Add file". On the other hand, if you want to rip a DVD movie, the button you need to click is "Load DVD". It is nice that both functions can be accessed from the same window, without launching a different app.
Aiseesoft Total Media Converter comes with a video editor that lets you trim and crop your videos and adjust their brightness, contrast, and saturation.
