AKVIS NatureArt is an image editor that gives you access to plenty of visual effects to apply to your favorite pictures. The application lets you add weather-related effects, like rain, lightnings or rainbows, to your digital photos and transform the plain pictures into works of art.
You can import photos of various formats, such as JPEG, PNG, RAW, SRW, ORF, BMP, TIFF, and many others. Then you can select the area from the picture you wish to alter, choose a visual effect from the Presets list, and export the image to your local directories. You can also print the photo directly from the application's interface.
Another advantage is the fact that you can create your own output profiles by adjusting the levels of Density, Fill, Transparency, etc. You can save the created profiles if you wish to reuse them later on a different image.
One of the things that bothers me about this image editor is the fact that it supports a limited amount of output formats (JPEG, PNG, TIFF, and BMP). Another disadvantage is that it's a bit too pricey for what it offers. Other image editors, for instance GIMP, that provide you with extra features are free of charge and offer you the same quality results (it might take you longer to apply the effects as you need to configure various output settings, but the results are the same).
Cutting a long story short, I think you can find better solutions (such as the one I mentioned previously) for adding weather-related effects to your pictures.
