AKVIS Retoucher is a powerful image editing tool that offers special features which enable its users to perform photo retouching and restoration tasks in an easy and effective manner.
This handy application will help you remove all kinds of imperfections from your photos, including stains, dust or scratches. Many other retouching and restoration operations can be performed, including ones that make use of powerful post-processing tools like a “Clone Stamp” and a “Chameleon Brush”. Rebuilding missing parts of a photo using the information from the surrounding areas is also possible, thanks to utilities like the “Clone Stamp”. I think that, considering that there are such features, this tool is especially useful for restoring and correcting old scanned photos that were significantly damaged. It can also be used to remove any unwanted parts from a photo, such as date stamps or background elements that spoil the whole view.
Though it includes powerful tools and features, AKVIS Retoucher is rather lightweight and can be used by anyone without any problem. Its interface is quite simple, straightforward and intuitive. Furthermore, it can be used as a standalone application but also as a plug-in for powerful graphic editors like Adobe Photoshop.
To sum it all up, it offers undeniable advantages that might justify the rather high price. It’s definitely worth at least a try.
