Allway Sync offers you a set of high-end synchronization algorithms that, once set up, are capable of synchronizing all kinds of data, regardless of how and where they are stored (cloud services included), following your most demanding criteria.
The program’s interface looks simple enough, at least until you open the various settings tabs available. The main window is basically where you select the source and target drives and folders and where the initial analysis of the data stored at both ends takes place. This is the easy part – configuring how you want those files and folders to be synchronized may take you some time. The great thing is that you will only have to do it once (per task) and save it for future use.
When it comes to its functionality, it is worth noting that it supports all kinds of drives, file systems, locations, network communications, etc., as long as they follow the current standards. Data can be compressed and encrypted during the synchronization process for extra protection, and every copied or deleted file is neatly monitored and their metadata is recorded on a database for future reference. Likewise, if something goes wrong during the synchronization process, the program’s algorithms are prepared to ensure that none of your data suffers any damage or gets lost in the process.
Unlike in some other simpler synchronization tools, with Allway Sync you can synchronize more than two folders at a time. All you have to do is select the two folders you want to match and then add as many extra target folders as required. The settings in the profile you selected will be applied to all the folders involved in the process.
Allway Sync can be used for free at home with some limitations (mainly in the number of files you can sync per month), and it offers an affordable license fee with no restrictions for businesses and heavy users.
