Am I online? is a small utility that helps you check whether your computer is really online. In this respect, it provides essential information that serves as the starting point to solve any possible issue with your Internet connection, especially when your machine seems to be physically connected, yet fails to communicate with the outside world.
The utility is very light and certainly no burden for your system. Besides, it may be set to run unobtrusively from the Menu Bar. There, it can perform regular scans and display the corresponding messages about the status of your connection. Unfortunately, however, the help documentation is very poor.
