Amacsoft PDF to Image for Mac is exactly what its name implies: a program that enables you to extract pages from your PDF documents and save them as individual image files. The utility supports batch conversion, provides you with easy to configure output settings, and immediately offers you the quality results you need.
You can import multiple PDF documents, preview them if necessary, and choose individual output profiles. The application also lets you choose which pages to extract from the input files.
In my testing, the program worked great. I had no trouble configuring the output settings and the app offered me the output files within seconds.
The one thing that bothers me is the fact that this converter supports a limited amount of image formats. Only popular formats like JPEG, PNG, TIFF, BMP, and GIF are supported. Hence, you cannot convert PDFs to formats such as TGA, EPS, DCM or PSD (GIMP, a popular open source image editor which also lets you convert photos, supports these formats).
However, Amacsoft PDF to Image for Mac completes its tasks within moments and preserves the quality of the input documents. So, I'd say it's worth buying this product if the aforementioned disadvantage doesn't mean much to you.
