Organize and play all your music tracks in one handy app. Scan your local libraries and integrated TIDAL streaming and enhance the sound of your music playback. The solution improves the audio quality for Spotify, Apple Music, Beats Music, Netflix, and Skype.

Amarra is a high-resolution audio player that supports a wide range of formats, including DSD, DSF, MQA, AIFF, FLAC, WAV, AAC, ALAC and MP3. It conveniently lets you organize all your music from a single application. In this respect, it is excellent that it integrates perfectly with iTunes to access your local libraries. Besides, it allows streaming from popular online services, such as TIDAL and Qobuz.

The player has a nice interface resembling those of other similar tools. In this regard, there is a left-side pane that lets you go straight to the desired feature. Thus, the first group of tabs is specifically devoted to playing music from TIDAL, and it includes different views (Tracks, Albums, Playlists, Genres and Moods). Likewise, there is a second group for discovering and purchasing Qobuz music. Finally, you can manage current playback, browse albums and organize playlists.

At the bottom of the panel, you can also access the Equalizer, which comes with various presets. Next, there are Settings, from where you can scan for music on your computer or iTunes. Similarly, you should go there to configure your TIDAL and Qobuz accounts.

Although Amarra can substitute iTunes as your music organizer, I would not recommend that. It seems to me that iTunes provides a cleaner interface and more features, like automatic tagging.

All in all, Amarra lets you enjoy high-quality audio either from local files (FLAC, MQA and DSD) or as Internet streams. The product is not cheap, which is why the availability of a trial version is so much appreciated. Finally, you should know that it comes in two editions: Amarra Luxe and Amarra SQ.
