Any PDF Converter Pro lets you convert your PDF documents into a wide array of other formats. In this respect, the tool supports various Office file types (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), image formats (JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP, TGA and PPM), plain text files as well as HTML and RTF. One of its advantages is that it allows applying optical character recognition to scanned PDFs to create editable documents from them.
The application has a nice interface, which resembles those of many video converters out there; so, it is very unlikely that you have any difficulty to use it. It is great that the tool supports importing batches of PDF documents to process in a single operation. Once loaded, the documents can be previewed. Besides, you can select the page range you want to convert. Likewise, and this is excellent news, the tool lets you pick a different output format for each source file if it is necessary.
As stated above, the application supports converting images to text. In this regard, it is good that there are three different OCR modes, ranging from the fastest to the most accurate. Moreover, multiple languages are supported.
While Any PDF Converter Pro can help you convert PDF to many other formats, it does not allow creating PDFs from other file types. Regrettably, you cannot use it to make the text in a scanned PDF copiable or editable and retain the original format.
All in all, Any PDF Converter Pro is very recommended if you frequently need to convert PDF files to other formats. Luckily, it also does a very accurate job that preserves the original layout, even with more complex formats as XLSX. The product can be purchased from the Mac Store at a reasonable price.
