This application is a free software that works as a media player. It supports a wide range of both video and audio formats, so that you can enjoy watching your favorite movies and listening to music tracks at home on your personal Mac.

The tool comes with a modern and appealing user interface. Loading the video and audio files can be done easily, either by drag-and-drop or by browsing through your computer. The interface is not cluttered with too many buttons or complicated menus. You will find the standard controls for this kind of tools, such as play, stop, and pause. One thing, though, can make the difference from any another player: I refer to the program's ability to set the audio channels in such way to give you the impression that the sound comes either from the left or from the right. Furthermore, to get the best audio experience, you can set it according to the audio system that you have – namely, you may choose among stereo, 5.1, mono, or 2 front 2 rear.

As for the program video playing ability, there is not much to say, except that it supports adding subtitles and taking snapshots. The captures can be saved as JPEG, PNG, or BMP files and into the destination folder of your choice. In addition, you can adjust the size of the window where the video file is being displayed. You can leave it to normal, shrink it to half, double its size, or fit it according to the size of the video image.

The application is very basic. I wouldn't expect to find advanced settings within a free media player – yet, a sound equalizer for audio tracks, or an option to adjust the brightness of a playing movie would be advisable. I would also mention the inability to create playlists, as it is not so convenient to have to add all the files one by one every time. You don't even have a repeat button to play the same track more than once. And last but not least, you may end up with a frozen window when loading the files and hitting the play button too fast. All the above-mentioned drawbacks make me recommend other free players that are much more efficient.
