
Apex™ Record Keeping activation enables users to connect pricing data with recorded information. This activation will offer 3 new maps, 6 new reports, manual documentation features, and crop share input. Customers can evaluate this activation by using the 30 day demo.

- Tutorial Videos in the help menu – Apex now has an option in the help drop down menu to select tutorial videos. If you are connected to the internet there are 18 videos available to help you with specific tasks
- Landing Page Preference – The user now has the option to select which page they would like Apex to open to any time you open the program. You can find this preference by going to file then selecting preferences.
- Displaying Guidance line shifts – In the 3.4 release Apex will now display if a guidance line has been shifted and if so how far is it from the original location. The user will see a solid black line indicating the original line and a dashed blue line showing where the shift is, if there is one present. The user will also see the total distance the line was shifted displayed on the map.
- Record Keeping and Surface Water Management now available to all Apex customers – Any customer with an active Apex activation will now have access to both Record Keeping (RK) and Surface Water management (SWM). These were only available through separate plug-ins in the past. Although SWM’s general functionality will now be free, Depression, Drainage and Digital Elevation Maps will continue to have a $0.25 per acre charge if you choose to order those maps.
- New Version notification – If you have an active connection to the internet Apex will now alert you when it detects there is a new version. You will be able to review the release notes of the new version to see the changes prior to clicking install. At the bottom of this notification there is also the option to define how often Apex looks for updates.
- GPS location showing more points to give higher accuracy – In the past Apex has displayed 6 digits after the decimal point when showing latitude, longitude, and headings. Apex will now display 8 digits after the decimal which will give more accuracy.
