Apowersoft Mac Screenshot is a program that enables you to take snapshots of your desktop with just a few clicks. This application comes in handy to users who need to take screenshots of the programs they develop, troubleshooting reports for sharing with technical support, etc.
The utility sits in your Menu Bar from where you can select the type of screenshots you wish to take (regional or fullscreen) and configure the output settings according to your needs. You can choose between various output formats, such as JPG, GIF, TIFF, PNG, and BMP.
Another advantage is that you can use the integrated image editing features to alter the screenshots. You can add geometrical shapes or text content to your snapshots and then share them directly from the program's interface.
If you're familiar with Mac OS X, you probably know that there is a default solution for taking snapshots of your desktop. The key combination is Shift+Command+4 and the output files are saved as PNG (you can export the snapshot to another format by using Mac's Preview app).
Hence, I don't think it's worth buying Apowersoft Mac Screenshot just because it simplifies the process of taking snapshots on your Mac.
