AppIconBuilder offers a simple solution to generate icons for applications. Therefore, the tool is designed to help you create icons for multiple platforms, including iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Android, and Mac Icns.
The utility opens with a clean and intuitive interface which makes managing the application a hassle-free task. Without any hidden preferences to tailor, you simply focus on the main window to make the desired settings. This way, once the image is imported and the target operating system is selected, you can set the background color, the radius and the scale percentages, the file name if supported, and the output format.
Unfortunately, editing the image you loaded into the app isn't supported. You can neither enlarge, rotate and flip the image nor crop a selected area. If image adjustments are required, you need to edit it first into a different program and then use it with AppIconBuilder to generate your icons. However, once the few available settings are tailored, you simply click Export and check the destination folder for the results.
