Apps Usage shows you the time spent in each application you use. This is a lightweight app which can be accessed from the Menu Bar icon. It has a beautiful interface, designed for OS X, which looks great in both light or dark mode. To fully take advantage of those benefits, you must enable Start at Login at the first launch and let the app running.
