AssaultCube is a first-person shooter video game that can be played in single or multi-player mode. The app lets you choose among 12 multi-player game modes, provides you with quality graphics and realistic animations, and comes with an integrated map editor.
This game has low system requirements, hence, you can play it even on an older Mac. You have access to various display options and control settings which you can easily configure according to your needs, an option to record gameplay, and much more.
The thing I like the most about this shooter game is the fact that its animations look realistic. Plus, the app uses a reasonable amount of CPU resources, even when playing against online users (multiplayer game mode).
What's more, you can choose from a wide variety of maps which you can alter if necessary. Taking into consideration the amount of features this app has to offer, I expected to download a larger game installer; AssaultCube install file was only 52 MB.
With that being said, I'd say it's worth downloading and installing AssaultCube on your Mac if you're into playing shooter games.
