Astrobatics is a fast-paced game that will delight fans of the space-shooter genre, and indeed adrenalin-seekers in general, and the sheer speed of the action is something that's impossible to get across in words.

When it comes to gaming, addiction is what sells, and Astrobatics has this in abundance, as you fly through space at breakneck speeds blasting all manner of weird and wonderful enemies and traversing obstacles.

The excellent graphics and sound only add to the impact of the game. Although the initial levels start off fairly easily, they quickly become very challenging as the number of baddies flying at you increases to mind-boggling proportions.

This can make the game a little frustrating but not quite enough to prevent you coming back for more. As you grow to learn the weaknesses of the end bosses, you should find you can go on to achieve greatness in Astrobatics.
