Audio Recorder Lite is a Mac utility that enables you to capture sound content on your computer and export it to your local directories. This type of programs come in handy if you need to record audiobooks, a conversation or anything that's currently being played on your Mac and save it for later.
The Recorder window is very intuitive. Simply select the preferred output settings and click the red button to start and stop the recording process. Once you finish capturing the sound content you need, you can export it to your local folders and use the program's audio editor to make some adjustments (for example, you can join audio files).
Unfortunately, the utility comes with many disadvantages. For starters, the program lacks options to pause and resume the recording process, supports a few output formats (WAV and M4A), and doesn't provide you with a waveform view mode (comes in handy when editing audio files).
Furthermore, the built-in audio editor doesn't work 100% (for example, nothing happens when clicking the "Trim" button), the recorder occasionally runs slow, and the program fails to detect the connected microphone.
It goes without saying that it doesn't worth downloading and installing this utility on your Mac as it brings you way too many flaws.
