AutoCrypt is a security tool that can encrypt your files and folders. The application lets you drag and drop any file that you want to encrypt and it supports two different encryption algorithms: AES and Blowfish. It uses a random password to encrypt your files, so you don't really need to do anything but select the files that you want to password-protect. You can choose the folder in which the files will be saved, and also what to do if the filename already exists in that location. The utility can overwrite the files, change their names or skip them. Once a file has been encrypted, its extension will be changed to .acrypx. When you want to decrypt it, you have to reverse the process. You drag and drop the file into the application and then click on the Decrypt tab, which will show all the decryption options. If you are sending files to other users, you can check the password under Password settings, because they will need it to decrypt the files.
