AVCWare Mac iPod to Computer 5.4.9

AVCWare Mac iPod to Computer Transfer is an application that lets you transfer data from your iPod to your Mac. Some of the types of data that you can transfer are songs, movies, videos, photos, and playlists. It supports the iPod Touch, iPhone 4, and iPod nano 7. When you connect your device to your Mac, the app will display a short summary of your device, including name, type, and free and used space. On the left part of the screen, you will see your device and below it, all the types of data that you can transfer. When you click on one of these categories, a list of files will be displayed on the right pane. You can select one or multiple files and copy them to a folder on your Mac or import them directly into iTunes.

I tested this application with a 4th generation iPod Touch, running iOS 5.0.1. It was detected just fine and I was able to transfer content right away. I was positively surprised when I saw that I could transfer contact information, messages, notes, books, and my photo stream as well.

This app can also be used to copy music and movies onto your iOS device as well. This doesn't require a sync with iTunes, which is great.
