batchDOC is small utility intended for converting batches of documents to a different format. In this regard, the tool can convert between pairs of the following formats: DOC, XML, RTFD, ODT, RTF, DOCX, TXT, HTML and webarchive. Even though it is unlikely you have difficulties to use it, unfortunately, there is no help documentation available.

The application is characterized by its compact minimalistic interface. The workflow is equally simple: selecting the sources files, picking the output format and converting. Thus, you can start by choosing the source folder, which may contain as many files as you want. Then, you need to set filters matching those file extensions you wish to convert. After that, you can pick one of the available target file types and press the Convert button.

In this case, the application has to pay a toll due to its simplicity. Compared with other similar utilities, this one does not show a list with the imported files. Neither does it allow previewing their contents or picking a page range. Finally, I regret the absence of such a popular format as PDF in the list of supported extensions.

All in all, batchDOC has the main advantage of being very simple to use. I am sure it will be very appreciated by those needing to perform frequent conversions between document formats. The product can be bought from the Mac App Store.
