The kingdom promised you the princess, and now they've gone back on their promise. Become a dragon, terrorize the villagers, steal the princess, and eat your fill!
Play with the directional keys, Z, and X. A very simple project made in just a few weeks as a sort of self-imposed game jam. My first project made with PICO-8. Will not be receiving any feature updates, but I will fix bugs if they're reported or discovered.
The game is not long; expect about a 10-20 minute playtime. The layout of the people in the levels is semi-random, and it will often not be possible to actually catch everybody, so it is not required to do so to get the highest "result" at the end.

Update: a crash has been fixed. It would occur if you pushed a rolling cart into another cart after having restarted a screen.
Update, 03/08/2021: Made it more difficult to accidentally restart a level. Restarting a level now requires two distinct button presses, rather than it being able to trigger by holding the X button down.
