David Martin was a Protestant scholar who lived between the 16th. and the 17th. centuries. He wrote several Christian books and translations of both the New Testament and the entire Bible. His 1744 translation of the Bible into French remains one of the most authoritative since the New Testament translation is based on the Textus Receptus, that is, the original Greek texts. This is a HTML version of David Martin's Bible translation. It takes advantage of the features of the format. For example, for accessing any given book, you only need to click on the corresponding link of the menu at the left panel. Also, the text can be read both on- and offline. To read it offline, you need to download the .zip file containing the entire book. The file is pretty light (a little less than 2 Mb), so it can be downloaded quickly. Although the introducing text is written both in French and English, the titles of the different books are only in French, and thus, you will need at least a basic knowledge of that language to navigate properly through the book. Other than that, it can be a valuable addition to your Biblical library.
